Maurizio Amadei, a former member of the legendary Carpe Diem, founded his own brand M.A+ ("m-a cross" or "across") in 2006. It is distinguished by its minimalism, which is achieved using various techniques, primarily by working with cut. Items created from a single piece of material are the hallmark of the brand. Often, the seamlessness of products is achieved through complex folds and drapery. Branding boils down to the "cross" symbol that appears on clothing in the form of embroidery, silver staples and embossing on accessories. Most of the items are handcrafted in Amadei's workshop in the suburbs of Rome.
